Introduces Islamic artefacts made from the 8th century AH/ 14th century AD to the late 13th century AH/ late 19th century AD. On display are a number of fascinating objects from the period after the Mongol invasion of eastern Islamic lands, most notably, an outstanding, early Mongol silk tunic attributed to the 8th century AH/ 14th century AD. A collection of Mamluk, Safavid and Ottoman metal objects and ceramics are further highlights in this gallery.
